So tonight after a lengthy trip to the laundromat we arrive home and go to get the babies in the shower before bed. I finally get them stripped down and noticed Sara had a big red mark on her back so I take her to show Michael. He checks it out and determines she's still alive and tells her to go get in the shower. Well my precious little soon to be four year old looks up at daddy and says "Daddy I banish you forever!"....and takes off running and giggling leaving mommy in stitches!
Now I know you are asking where did that come from and I have an answer! It's called the newest Peter Pan DVD. Remember Peter Pan banishing Tinkerbell from Neverland? Sara loves this movie....she wants to fly like Tinkerbell and the others, which has me a bit worried considering her "Super Sara" powers....lol She has no fear!

The Weekend
So I finally have a moment...that's it. This past weekend we got Michael's daughters, Christina & Alyssa. I must say every time we have all the girls under one roof for an extended period of time, chaos ensues. Imagine that...lol
We picked them up on Friday and they all were complete chatterboxes, happy to see each other. We all went to Pizza Inn to eat cause you know everybody loves pizza! After we got home they all played....the three older ones more than the little ones. Sara Elisabeth is so excited when they come over and because she is so little they just don't want to play with her much...it breaks her heart.
So Saturday, Grammy came to get the big girls to go to Fun Expedition. It was a belated birthday gift for Alyssa, whose birthday was February 21stish I believe. So that morning before Grammy got here, Emilee came upstairs at 7 AM to ask me where the laptop was....I swear I just about killed her! 7 AM!!! So I send her away...actually I told her that Dad had the laptop and she could ask him for it....she opted to go back downstairs instead....wise decision! So you know my babies normally sleep till around 10 AM everyday....perfect considering Grammy was to be here at 10 to get the big girls...the little ones would sleep through their exit and life would be good and quiet considering they like to go with Grammy too. You know life never works the way you want it to right? So at 8AM Emilee comes up the stairs with Rachel...they had woken her up. Sweet right? grrrrrrrrrrrrr
So Michael finally gets up and is off to deal with the children. Grammy calls right before she gets to the house so Michael could take Sara and Rachel for a ride....needless to say Sara knew something was up and she didn't want to go. But the girls are off to Fun Expedition finally and I was left with the knowledge that we were having a surprise birthday party for my husband and two more of our family TONIGHT....not tomorrow as planned. sigh, and life just keeps going.
So I had to get the house cleaned up a little quicker than expected which was pretty easy....getting Michael to help wasn't. lol
Emilee had her basketball tournament Saturday at 2...so we went to that. The girls did awesome during the last quarter of the game. If they had played like that the entire season, their team would've kicked ass! Instead we lost pretty much the entire season and of course lost the tournament game as well. But they had fun....I think.
So the game ends and all the girls but Rachel are off with Grammy again. It's my job to keep my husband away from the house while they shop and then come to decorate. Do you know how much he wanted to kill me after the 2nd hour of Walmart...lol We shopped baby clothes and more! But we made it back to the party right on time:) It was a fun party...Spongebob theme, pizza, cake, ice cream, games....the works! And fun presents. I think the funniest part of the party was when Sara gave Uncle Ed his present. He opened it and told Sara thank you....I think it was this little etchasketch. Sara was downright mad that Uncle Ed was keeping her present! It only got better when Andrew opened his present from Sara (a bowling ball set), told her thank you, put it with his stuff.....and Sara throws herself on the floor, full on Scarlett OHara style, and proceeds to cry because Andrew kept her present. She just doesn't understand the gift of giving just yet I suppose. It probably didn't help that she did get all of "her" gifts back...including the dartboard she got for Daddy....lol
So did I mention the nail polish fiasco? Well apparently the girls wanted to paint their nails, which is totally okay. What was totally not okay is the fact they didn't shut the bathroom door when they were done NOT putting the nail polish away, the fact they didn't put the baby gate up so the baby couldn't get to the bathroom door. Long story short, Rachel got in the bathroom, confiscated the nail polish, and proceeded to paint the bathroom floor, the toilet, herself, and the shoes. It was a disaster!
So finally Saturday is over....big sigh of relief.....Sunday morning comes and we are all trying to get ready for church. Now we only have one working bathroom at the moment because my husband refuses to use dynamite to solve our plumbing problems...go figure! So that means we have 6 girls trying to take a shower and get ready in 2 hours.....with a half size water heater in a stand up shower. Let me tell you, that alone is an experience. Ask Michael just how cold the water was for his shower....lol
The rest of the day after church went smoothly....we ate at KFC, the girls played outside, Rachel napped....then it was time to take Christina & Alyssa home. Apparently by the time we got there, they had cooked up a plan for Emilee to come to church with them. It was movie/pizza night....so we said yes and dropped Emilee off too. It'll be a couple of hours we were told when to come back to pick her up. This was at 4:00, church started at 5:00....
So instead of going back home, unloading, then reloading in a couple of hours we just went for a drive. Got a little expresso.....went up to the picnic area on Buffalo mountain. Sara and Michael went for a short hike while I stayed in the van with a very sleeping Rachel. Then they built a small fire in one of the grills that was set up there. It was fun. By the time we got Emilee from church it was after 8....not a couple of hours later mind you. But eventually we found our comfy little beds and crashed!
Told you chaos ensued....lol
So yesterday was my anniversary. Michael and I have been married for three years. Funny thing is, if anyone had asked me five years ago where I would be today I would've never guessed this. But God has a master plan for all of us and he knew that I would be happy here....and I am.
Well my fingers are numb and I'm getting tired of typing....so hope you had fun reading!

Rachel's First Prayer
So I have had this crazy chaotic weekend which I'll go into more detail another day because I'm just about ready to pass out now....
But today we ate lunch at KFC and Rachel said her first prayer. It's so cute watching her ya know? For the past month or so we'll sit down to eat, we'll pray, be eating our meal and here goes Rachel holding out her itty bitty hands waiting for us to take hers in ours. It's her way of saying I want to pray so sometimes we pray a few times a meal. Today Michael helped her say her first prayer....It went something like this: Dear Lord, Thank you for our food (thats tink you for Rachel...lol), In Jesus name, Amen
I swear kids are the cutest things.....

Sara Elisabeth's Latest Caper
Okay so here is a quick insite into Sara's latest adventures...I swear I could write a book! I've been trying to potty train Sara and let me tell you it has not been anywheres near easy. When I can get her to sit on the potty she will pee without a fight. It's the #2 part of the potty business that just downright scares her. And the whole wearing the panties thing is an absolute disaster....Sara screams 'I don't want to wear panties....I want my diaper!' So you can see how it is a little bit frustrating right?
So tonight we put Sara on the potty because she had gas. Michael brings her a book to read.....the tropical fish encyclopedia (that's another story for another day I suppose). Well I am sitting on the bed reading my email....the bathroom is within my view..... All of a sudden the door bursts open and there stands Sara grinning from ear to ear.....and guess what she says then? "Come see my poop!" LMAO...she was so excited! So that was the highlight of my night....

More Kid Stuff
Okay so got a couple things I wanted to write about....
I took the kids to Mr. K's Bookstore about a week ago and we are upstairs looking around and having fun. I leave Emilee and Rachel in the kiddie section and take Sara with me to check for a book I wanted. Well on the way back to the kiddie section Sara starts jumping up and down hollering 'the crocidator....the crocidator'. So I have no idea what she is getting all giddy and excited and having a panic attack over. So I say 'Oh I see' and we go back to the kiddie section. We gather up all our stuff and head back for the stairs and here goes Sara off on her rant of 'the crociiiiiiiiiiiiiidatorrrrrrrrrrrrrr'. I'm looking at Emilee wondering if she gets it.....Emilee says 'the elevator moma'. Sheesh....I'd never have guessed! So next time you have to ride the elevator think of my Sara screaming the crocidator!
Shoot now I can't remember the other Sara thing....oh well it will come to me and luckily the blog is open 24 hours like Walmart! lol
Emilee has one more basketball game to play before the season is over. I told her we had to practice this summer....sometimes I think she is allergic to the ball, but she loves the game!
Did I mention my van blew up? Well it did....about a week ago! Threw a rod, which is sooooooooooooooo not freakin' good! That requires a new motor which is about $600....luckily we had that much in vacation money saved so we're getting it fixed:) But chances for a vacation are not good at this point:(
Michael found a used van for us to use until the time being. Then he'll probably start driving that one to work since it has awesome gas mileage....man I shouldn't have typed that because I probably just jinxed us...lol Anyways.......

God Vs. Evil
Got this in my email and I just loved it! And for those of you that know my husband you'll know why I say this would be an answer he would give....lol
EVIL vs GOD Did God create everything that exists? Does evil exist? Did God create evil? A University professor at a well known institution of higher learning challenged his students with this question. "Did God create everything that exists?" A student bravely replied, "Yes he did!" "God created everything?" The professor asked. "Yes sir, he certainly did," the student replied. The professor answered, "If God created everything; then God created evil And, since evil exists, and according to the principle that our works define who we are, then we can assume God is evil." The student became quiet and did not respond to the professor's hypothetical definition. The professor, quite pleased with himself, boasted to the students that he had proven once more that the religious faith was a myth. Another student raised his hand and said, " May I ask you a question, professor?" "Of course," replied the professor. The student stood up and asked, "Professor, does cold exist?" "What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?" The other students snickered at the young man's question. The young man replied, "In fact sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Everybody or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-460F) is the total absence of heat; and all matter becomes inert and incapable of reaction at that temperature. Cold does not exist We have created this word to describe how we feel if we have no heat." The student continued, "Professor, does darkness exist?" The professor responded, "Of course it does." The student repli ed , " Once again you are wrong, darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we can study, but not darkness. In fact, we can use Newton 's prism to break white light into many colors and study the various wave lengths of each color. You cannot measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into a world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you know how dark a certain space is? You measure the amount of light present. Isn't this correct? Darkness is a term used by man to describe what happens when there is no light present." Finally the young man asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?" Now uncertain, the professor responded, "Of course, as I have already said. We see it everyday. It is in the daily examples of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil. To this the student re pli ed, "Evil does not exist, sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat, or the darkness that comes when there is no light." The professor sat down. The student's name--Albert Einstein, A true story

Ramblings of An Insomniac
I hate being this way. Here it is 7:00 a.m., daylight outside, and I still have not been able to get any sleep. At this moment my husbands alarm clock is going off. There is something so not right about this. And I hate to take sleeping pills because they make me groggy the next day. This is just crazy!
So I'm worried about the house we are living in. We moved in last June (I think) and things were good. It had its problems but nothing major. At least we have space and Emilee has her own room. We have a huge yard with a treehouse and swingset for the girls to play in. And we have a garage. I love it. Now our plumbing is on the ritz....and it is not a simple plumbing problem either. I mean when I run the dishwasher, my kitchen sinks fill up with water. We can't flush the toilet downstairs because it overflows. When I run the washer, it drains into the bathtub. See....not normal! My husband had our septic tank emptied thinking that would fix the problem...well obviously it didn't. Now he's talking about the field lines being clogged....and apparently there is no coming back from that. He's thinking if that is the problem, the house will end up being condemned. And then we will have to move, yet again. And I sooooooooooo do not want to move. I am still trying to get my dad's house packed up. I have pretty much done everything out there by myself and I'm tired. I just want it to be done. I am so stressed out over the not knowing. I want closure....I want the stuff at this house resolved. And I don't want Emilee to have to go to another school, yet again. It's bad enough this is her third school and she's only in fourth grade....I went to the same school my entire life; is it wrong to want the same for my children? My husband was helping me fill in my family tree profile on himself, and you would not believe the schools he went to. I mean it was almost a different school every year of his life. How horrible would that be? Not to have the stability of friendships and teachers. I don't want that for my girls. It's not normal. So anyways, see why I'm so stressed out. Pray for me and all this house stuff.
So did I mention Emilee sprained her hand yet? Well she did....playing football at AWANA's. It's getting better....we have to take her back in a week if it doesn't start clearing up. They'll check more closely for a hairline fracture. Pray for Emilee.
Did I tell you I got a new laptop? I am so psyched about that. It's brand new...got Windows Vista....two processors....two hard drives.....huge display screen....it's sweet! My husband is awesome isn't he? Next year it's his turn for a new laptop. He can't move his because the place where you plug the cord to charge it has come undone from the motherboard. And he tried to resauter it himself, but it came undone after awhile....so unless he wants to send it in to the manufacturer he's stuck sitting at his desk using it. But it still works nice.
We decided to let the girls use my old laptop. We're going to set it up with some games for Sara....because she is all about the computer games. She likes this Angelica (from Rugrats) game that Emilee has....and Emilee refuses to let Sara play it on her computer. So that's that.
So it's 7:15 and I'm still wide awake. This is just nuts.....
And It Only Gets Better...
You know those days...no I take that back, those weeks....when the hits just keep on coming? Well this has been one of those. We've all had strep, I had a tooth pulled, and today.....I had to take Miss Emilee to the doctor because she sprained her hand. I'm starting to think someone has it in for us...lol
Answer to question....she sprained her hand playing football at AWANA's Wednesday night...that's my girl! So now she has this little splint and she's all about the sympathy. I kinda felt bad because at first I thought she was just faking it because she is what do you call it? Hypochondriac...every little thing....but this time it was for real, unfortunately.
Do you know how hard it is to type on my laptop with Rachel laying across my chest. I have decided that if Rachel were ever involved in the mob she would have this name....Fingers Marvin....is an explanation really necessary? Here I am sitting her typing, minding my own business and next thing you know I notice the numbers lock key is pushed down and I have tons of numbers....and I am not a numbers person!
So anyways I just got done telling Michael that we have good entertainment at our house. Michael's trying to change Rachel's diaper before we put her to bed and she is fighting like a croc would the crocodile hunter. I mean Michael has her every which way to upside down and sideways trying to get that diaper on her. He finally gets the diaper on, is trying to get her legs back in her jammies....one leg in and he's working on the other one....oops the other legs back out, time to start all over again. By the time he's almost done he has Rachel standing on her head putting her legs in her jammies. She's a slippery one that Rachel. Good entertainment value.
We took Sara (and those other two children I call mine) to Pizza Inn tonight for supper. While we were at the pediatrician getting Emilee's hand x-rayed, Sara decided she wanted pizza...so why not? I mean Emilee has the sprained hand and Sara gets the stickers, the restaurant and all the glory...lol Nah, Emilee wanted pizza too and Rachel just eats anything. So anyway, we're at pizza inn visiting with Grammy...we all have pizza, noodles, etc....except for Sara who decides she doesn't want to eat (you know she's one of those kids who eats when she's ready and tonight was one of those nights). So we tell her she needs to eat her supper because we're not cooking when we get home....that line is said alot in our house. She says she's full. Finally we leave, get in the van, we're half way home and I hear Sara....I want cookie pizza...I'm hungry. Is it just my children that are like this?
We have this fish tank....10 gallons, it's supposed to be a tropical fish tank actually. Michael set it up about a month or so ago and he says lets get some sacrificial fish...nice huh? haha So we go to Walmart and he tells this lady he wants about 5 of those 28 cent goldfish....the lady ended up giving us around 15 because she was frustrated, only charged us for 5....anyways. Things were going good until I started reading up on goldfish/tropical fish aquariums. Apparently you can't mix the two fish....so now we have a goldfish tank, sorry had. So we have all these itty bitty fish...I wanted big fish, you know the kind you don't have to squint to see. So off to walmart we (as in me and the kids) go and we pick out the huge wavy looking calico goldfish and then one of these monster size pearl/orange colored goldfish. Now they were named Disney and Monopoly respectively. Now Monopoly was true to his name....that fish monopolized the tank. He terrorized the little fish...it was fun to watch. Oh and I can't forget the snail. Emilee picked out a Blue (something or other name) snail at PetsMart. Now that snail is quick and snails are supposed to be slow aren't they. So Michael named him Gary (from Spongebob). Monopoly would be swimming around the tank; Gary would be minding his own business cleaning the side of the tank....next thing you know Monopoly comes swimming at Gary and hits him making Gary go flying off into oblivion....lol It was hilarious. So anyways, goldfish apparently produce lots of ammonia and if you don't change the water like almost everyday (with the amount of fish we had) its really really bad. Long story made short....all the fish are dead, but Gary is still kicking it. And you want to know the funny story.....one day Emilee and I discovered that Gary is actually a part Gabriella because he or she depending on how you put it had babies. Three little itty bitty snails to be exact and they were actually kind of cute....well all but one really because Michael killed the other two (snail murderer! lol) Apparently a baby snails shell is really soft and you shouldn't try to pick them up.....sucks for the snail. So we were all kind of sad when two of the babies died. Then one day we noticed these jelly looking protrusions growing on Gary's shell and we were quite worried....until we went to PetsMart and found out Gary/Gabriella was a parent to be. That snail left sacs all over that tank (even on his previous baby songirl...ewwwww!) And you would not believe how many snails that lone little bugger produced. Our previous fishtank has now been invaded by snails....there are probably 80 or so itty bitty potentials crawling around in that tank thanks to Gary...or Gabriella. So if you know of anyone who needs a snail PLEASE have them give us a shout. The children and I really would like to have some room in our tank for fish...sigh

Drug Induced State
Okay so I finally had that stinkin' tooth pulled today. It's been driving me nuts forever! So anyways I have some reallyyyyyyyyyyyyy good pain meds and they are making me loopy! I have spent the majority of the day in my bed sleeping but for the past few hours I've been here. Does anyone realize how great this internet thing really is? I mean it's fabulous....within a few clicks of a button, within seconds (if you have a great connection) you can find answers to absolutely anything. Entertainment at a seconds notice. Miss your favorite tv show? Just go to the official network site and watch it again. Need your favorite movie....download it! Not that that option is legal so I don't really reccommend it because I so totally would not do that.... Anyways and what about the youtube site....videos galore. And there are all these virtual sites that let you see other countries without having to go there. There is a great site for Jerusalem and I so know the experience isn't the same but it's much cheaper and probably safer at this moment in time too. And this whole myspace thing....well it's fun. Everyone has a myspace page it seems....even my favorite tv shows, soap opera stars, you name it, it's there! Brilliant.
So anyways I've been watching the Cinderella movies for weeks now. Sara Elisabeth is a self-proclaimed Princess. She demands to have a princess dress every day...normally with her cowboy/cowgirl boots and she doesn't want her hair fixed. Then she has to watch a princess movie...right now we are in Cinderella mode. She watched Beauty and the Beast once....my all time favorite Princess movie.....When the part where Belle goes into the forbidden part of the castle and the Beast comes out roaring, Sara Elisabeth comes flying over to the couch, jumps up beside me, yanks the covers over her head literally, and says 'that's scary'. So we don't get to watch that one alot.
I'm laughing now because Michael has just gone into the bathroom to return the air freshner. It seems there was a sippy cup...one of those with the flip up straws.....hidden beside the tv in his room/office. Amazingly this sippy cup went on a bender of its own....the straw flips up and starts squirting spoiled milk out everywhere. I am sooooooooooo glad I wasn't there for that experience....because let me tell you it stinks, literally.
Okay so I'm going to go watch the newest episode of 24.....maybe I shall return later:P

Germs, Germs, Germs
We took the babies to the doctor today. Both tested positive for strep. So Michael and I had to hold both babies down so the nurses could give them a shot of penicillin and let me tell you they (Sara and Rachel) were downright pissed. Well Sara more than Rachel because she knew what was coming and she did not appreciate it! Rachel just stuck her lower lip out, the quiver came, and then she just cried. She just didn't understand why her daddy would hold her down so somebody could hurt her...it was sad. And then we finally get out of the exam room, get to the lobby and here Rachel is digging around in the diaper bag looking for her ba-ba (bottle). Well I tell her that I didn't bring one today because she is a big girl and doesn't need it....well she soooooooooo did not go for that. She stuck that lip out again, teared up, and started sniffing like she was going to cry. They have not had a good day, my poor babies!
Of course we already took Emilee to the ER last Thursday night and she was diagnosed with strep. Michael has already had it. So that leaves me....and you can bet I'll be walking around with a can of lysol for the next week...lol
Finally another new episode of Heroes tonight and let me just say I am loving this show! It is never boring and always leaves me wanting more! Tonight we finally find out who Claire's father is and let me say until this past week I would've never guessed it. Makes sense and I can't wait to see how they explain this!
I've got my husband downloading the new episode of 24 for me. I just started watching that show this season and it is one of my favorites. I've always liked Kiefer Sutherland and he is awesome in this series. If you haven't watched it, now is the time....it's intense! I love that the new President is portrayed by DB Woodside (formerly of Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and the guy from the West Wing (can't remember his name but he's good)...well he is a bad guy and I just wanna smack him.
As you can tell Monday night is a big tv night for me. I don't get to watch it live often but Mondays is a priority. Most of the time we download the episodes and watch after the babies are asleep. Well I have to get a tooth pulled in the morning so keep your fingers crossed for me. I'm off to download todays General Hospital so I can check it out....
Oh one more thing! My newest Sara Elisabeth memory.... a couple of mornings ago Michael had just woken up and was hanging out with Sara. You have to understand that when he first wakes up his hair is a DISASTER. Well Sara runs her little fingers through his hair, looks at him, and says 'Daddy, you're hair is on backwards.' Too freaking funny!!!!
My new Rachel memory....We were eating at Ryan's tonight and Michael and I ordered coffee. Well the waitress brought us some cream and Sara and Rachel always want to drink them. So they each get one and drank it all gone. Well Rachel wanted more....so by the end of dinner I taught her to say 'more please'....and let me tell you it is the absolute cutest phrase coming out of her mouth. She is talking away now! But 'more please' in no way beats out 'tink you'....ya just gotta be there!!!!!!
